Hyatt Regency Koeln Hotel - Cologne

Would definitely recommend for short visits

Excellent room, really good breakfast, with fine views of the Rhine to enjoy the atmosphere while staying at a hotel with convenient luggage storage.

Entirely satisfied.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. The rooms on the river side have a wonderful view towards the cathedral. The hotel is only a short walk across the bridge to the middle of the city with lively shopping and access to some wonderful museums. The hotel restaurant served good food, the service was attentive with professional personnel. We are looking forward to a repeat stay when next we travel to Koeln.

The food at the Beer Garden, part of the hotel was not prepared with the same attention as in the main restaurant. A Beer Garden normally is a casual venue, but it would be good if the food was hot..

I had a lovely stay! The breakfast was a delicious spread, and I especially loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. The clean and spacious twin room was a perfect retreat at the end of each day. I would choose to stay here again.

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Koeln for one night. It was a wonderful stay with professional staff. Our room was big, clean and quiet. It was perfect. We particularly enjoy the spa/swimming pool, the bar and the breakfast with a direct view to the cathedral. The hotel is closed to the city center (5 min walk).

The staff was friendly, however it seems that the people that are not regular guest are not served as fast as the others...After 15 min waiting for a coffee during breakfast, my husband had to go to ask the staff directly...for a 5* hotel it is not really normal...?

The hotel serves fantastic breakfasts and offers fabulous rooms with a very bright white screen as well as nice beds. The property is set in a great location next to the center and the bridge and restaurants and shops.

You cannot find a better location than this hotel in Cologne. Our room had the view of the cathedral and it was quite simply, breathless. This will be one stay me and my girlfriend will never forget on how special it was...

This hotel was perfect.

The smell of the lobby was not so pleasant The bed in the room was not comfortable They cleanness of the room was poor. They only Chang the bed sheet and towel and leave the floor and the surfaces with dust and other. When reviweing the check out bill I found charges for mini bar items and car park that I did not use. In fact I did not open the mini bar during my stay and did not rent a car to park it in the hotel parking area. Yes they remove all these extra items from my bill without discussion but the issue is how they do such thing? Finally, my experience with Hyatt for the second time is not so pleasant. This hotel does not deserve fife stars designation. I will give them three to three and half stars.

the location was nice and the view of the city was excellent

there are not enough words to describe the place. Loud, noisy, poor service, no value for what you pay, nickel and dime you to death. it was quite unpleasant to spend that much money and feel like your staying in a hotel with everything you want has to be paid for as an add on... not run like a Hyatt Regency at all

The room provided a splendid view of the cathedral, and the breakfast area was a bright spot of my stay. The accessible room felt stuffy, and the lack of shower separation led to a wet bathroom every time I showered. On my first night, I encountered a rodent in the bar area, quite unpleasant. Despite the challenges, the food was decent, and the staff were generally helpful.

We received a free room upgrade when we checked-in and were allocated the Handel Suite (a business suite). It was very luxurious, immaculately clean and included complementary red wine, whiskey, gin, vodka and mineral water. The buffet style breakfast was excellent whilst the gym and spa facilities, although a little small, were ideal for an invigorating pre-breakfast workout. As you would expect of a 5* Superior hotel it was quite 'pricey' but it is a great hotel nonetheless.

Car parking was very expensive (€23 per day) and in my opinion should be included when paying such a high price to stay at the hotel.

A delightful hotel with courteous staff. Location really close to Cologne, the bridge from the main town with a fantastic views of the Dom, and an aerial tram that goes back across the river. Good drinks at bistro bar, fantastic service. Good internet, parking below the venue.

Very slow staff!

Staff is extremely helpful. Rooms are very good. Good soundproof. Nice location with view. We were surprised with good quality of room service meal. So, It was an excellent stay.

You may hear trains passing throught the bridge. No possibiity to open the windows.
